MapCollaborator is GreenInfo Network's online tool for creating and improving GIS data. Use MapCollaborator like a wiki - make edits, post notes and even upload your own data sets (these overlay but don't actually change the base data).
Try out this Demonstration Edition of MapCollaborator on protected areas data for California. GreenInfo Network can create other Editions of MapCollaborator with custom data and functions. Contact us at gin@greeninfo.org to learn more and download our factsheet. (1.9mb, PDF)
